#182 NEW BALANCE MINIMUS MT20BC2

ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING MINIMAL FOOTWEAR FROM A WELL KNOWN ATHLETIC BRAND. THIS ONE WAS AROUND THEIR 3RD GEN IN THE BAREFOOT MARKET. GREAT SHOES, VERY COMFORTABLE. UNLIKE VIVOBAREFOOT & VIBRAM FF, THESE ARE NOT 0 DROP. OUTSOLES ARE GREAT THOUGH. BEING TRAIL RUNNING SHOES, THEY PROVIDE EXCELLENT TRACTION FOR MOST SURFACES. THE MATERIAL THAT COVERS MOST OF THE FOOTWEAR COULD BE BETTER. HAS A TENDENCY TO TEAR. AS A RESULT, BIG COMPLAINT FROM A LOT OF USERS FOR SOME OF NB'S MINIMUS LINE. MINE STARTED TEARING AFTER APPROX. 140 WEARS AROUND THE LATERAL AREAS OF THE PINKY TOES. ALSO SOME GLUING STARTING TO UNDO AROUND THE TIP OF THE OUTSOLE. SAD PART ABOUT IT IS THAT I DON'T USE THESE FOR RUNNING. THESE ARE MAINLY FOR CASUAL WEARING. MY RUNNING SHOES ARE EITHER THE VFF OR EVO II (WHICH IS STILL HOLDING UP VERY WELL AFTER 167 WEARS AS OF THIS WRITING). AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, VIVOBAREFOOT'S QUALITY ARE MUCH HIGHER, THOUGH THEY ARE NOT AS GOOD LOOKING AS THE NB.
