#155 Y-3 HONJA HI
ONE OF THE MORE RECENT STAPLE DESIGNS, THE HONJI HI (AS WELL AS HONJA LO) RIDES PRETTY LOW TO THE GROUND. SOLE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN ADOPTED FROM THE BOXING SERIES. SO YES, THEY ARE COMFORTABLE. I LOVE THIS VERSION BECAUSE OF THE SPIKED REAR SECTION, GIVING IT AN AGGRESSIVE ROCK N ROLL IMAGE MIXED WITH TECHNOLOGICAL DESIGN. 2 TYPES OF LEATHER SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN USED AS EVIDENCED BY THE 2 COLORED BLACK TONE. THE LIGHTER GRADIENT BEING A MUCH SOFTER TYPE OF LEATHER SIMILAR TO LAMB.

#152 MY-23 YASUHIRO MIHARA PUMA
ANOTHER INNOVATIVE DESIGN FROM MIHARA'S PUMA LINE. THIS ONE HAS THE SOLES EMULATING A SPLASH EFFECT ON THE FOREFOOT, AS IF THE SHOES HAD STEPPED INTO A PUDDLE OF PAINT OR LIQUID. SOMETHING WORTHY OF NOTE, SOME OF HIS CURRENT LINES, MY-40 & MY-41, HAVE SOLES THAT THAT APPEAR TO MELT. THEY LOOK AS IF THE SHOES WERE PLACED ON A HOT STOVE.
